Preflight (2-1) – Student, Start (2-7), Taxi (2-9), Run up (2-11) & Take-off (5-1) - Instructor, Climbs (5-4, 3-13), Straight & Level (3-4), Descents (3-15) and Turns to Heading (3-7) - Instructor and Student, Landing (8-1) - Instructor, Communication - Instructor. 2. Preflight, Start, Taxi, Run up - Student; Take-off - Student steers, Instructor controls; Four Basics review - Student, Glides - Student, Tracking (6-2) - Student. 3. Slow Flight (4-1), Glides – Emergency (8-25), Rectangular Course (6-4). 4. Steep Power Turns (9-1), Glides, Tracking. 5. Power-On (4-3, 4-8) and Power-Off Stalls (4-7), Glides, Tracking. 6. Ground Reference Maneuvers - S Turns (6-6) and Turns About a Point (6-7). 7. Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs and Landings, Traffic Patterns (7-1), Low Passes, Go around (7-8). 8. Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs (5-2, 5-5) and Landings (8-1, 8-13), Controlled Field Operations (9-5, Complete Pilot), Low Passes. 9. Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs and Landings, Emergencies (Chapter 16, Instructor), Review Part 61 Solo Requirements. 10. Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs and Landings till Solo. 11. Normal and Crosswind Takeoffs and Landings 2nd Solo. 12. Solo Takeoffs and Landings. 13. Flight procedures to and from Practice Area. 14. Solos to Practice Area. 15. Solo Flight Landings & Practice Area. 16. Emergency Flight by Reference to Instruments (16-12), Navigational Aid usage (Chapter 8 Complete Pilot), Short (5-8, 8-17) and Soft-field (5-10, 8-19) takeoffs and landings. 17. Local Night Flight (Chapter 10): Will Rogers, Westheimer, David J. Perry airport. 18. Short Dual Cross-country (Chapter 7 Complete Pilot) using Pilotage and Dead Reckoning 19. Long Dual Cross-country using Pilotage, Dead Reckoning and Navigational Aids. Review Lost and Diversion procedures, Review Part 61 requirements. 20. Solo Cross-countries, review Part 61 requirements. 21. Night Dual Cross-country. 22. Review all maneuvers in preparation for the Practical Test. 23. Solo practice until within Practical Test Standards. 24. Practice Practical Flight Test. 25. Practical Flight Test with Examiner.
